The Importance of Motorcycle Shows and Rides

Motorcycle shows are important events for motorcyclists. They provide a great opportunity to see the latest motorcycles and accessories, to meet other motorcyclists, and provide opportunity for riders to show off their machines.

They are also a great way to socialize with other riders and learn about different aspects of motorcycling. They provide an opportunity to talk about riding experiences, share tips and advice, and just generally have a good time.

Rides are, of course, the best way to enjoy the freedom of the open road. And while there is nothing wrong with going for a solo ride, rides with friends or fellow riders can be even more enjoyable. They also give you a chance to explore new routes and see different parts of the province.

Riders Plus Insurance has a long history of attending these shows and rides whenever possible. We believe that these events are essential for the continued growth and development of the motorcycle community, and we encourage all riders to participate in as many shows, meets, and rides as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

We often get questions about motorcycle shows in Ontario from our customers:
Do I need to register to attend a motorcycle show or ride?

That depends on the show- some do require registration beforehand to keep things organized, raise funds for a charity event, or purchase event tickets for entry. Check the details for the specific event you are interested in attending.

Do I need to be a rider to attend?

No, for most motorcycle shows anyone can attend. Check out the show’s website to learn more about audiences, family participation, riding rules, and more. When it comes to local rides, you must be a rider and own your own bike.

Can I bring my kids to a motorcycle show?

While most shows are completely safe for young riders, some may not be made for, or may not even allow children. Be sure to check the show’s website for more details.

Will there be activities and events at the shows?

Yes! Usually, there are lots of food vendors, activities, raffles, and more at motorcycle rides and shows. This year, many of the events will be providing BBQs, door prizes, 50/50 draws, poker runs, lunches, auctions, and so much more! Be sure to check the relevant show’s website for more details on what will be provided.

What are the top motorcycle shows for 2023?

Some of the most popular motorcycle shows in Ontario and the GTA this year include Hogs for Hospice, Chrome Thunder N Blues Bikefest, Ride for Dad, and more!

Does Riders Plus attend the shows?

While we do attend a variety of motorcycle shows and rides every year when possible, we do not go to all of them. We believe motorcycle shows are a great way for us to connect with our community and hear from real riders! At Riders Plus, we’re more than just an insurance company – we’re fellow riders and friends! If you happen to see us at any of the shows, come talk to us! We love chatting and getting to know all of you.
