The Toronto Motorcycle Show is returning from February 21st to the 23rd and Riders Plus Insurance will be there! One of the biggest motorcycle shows in Ontario will take place at the Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place on 100 Princes’ Blvd in Suite 1. Expect to see over 500 exhibitors as this event brings together the world’s top brands as they showcase their upcoming 2020 models and technology for the first time in the Greater Toronto Area.

SHE RIDES
If you are a female rider, a female who wants to start riding, or just want to celebrate female riders, come and join the SHE RIDES event on Friday, February 21st. SHE RIDES is a celebration of women riders and a great opportunity for any women who would like to try riding for the first time. Admission is half off for all women after 5 pm on Friday.

WIN WIN WIN THIS BIKE
Kawasaki is going to be giving away a motorcycle to one lucky attendee. The draw is applicable to attendees over the age of 18. The winner will go home with a Kawasaki Z400, which will be given away on Saturday, February 22nd. Head over to Kawasaki’s booth from 12 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, February 22nd and fill out an electronic ballot to enter.

LATIMER STUNTS
Each day of the event there will be stunts performed by 2 professional stunt riders, including Craig Latimer, a back to back winner of the Individual Freestyle competition at the Canadian Freestyle Motorcycle Championship, and Toronto born Cesare Constantini.

YAMAHA RIDING ACADEMY
Yamaha Motor Canada and Canadian Motorcycle Training Services have teamed up to bring Yamaha Riding Academy exclusively to the Toronto Motorcycle Show. This will allow children between the ages of 6-12 to ride on the latest Yamaha TT-R off-road motorcycle for free! Children will be provided with safety gear to use during a 15-minute riding session.
Your child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with the authority to sign a waiver. Children must also be proficient on a standard two-wheeled bicycle.

2018 Motorcyclist of the Year
The Spring Motorcycle Show honours some great contributors to the motorcycling community each year, and this year’s event will introduce visitors to the people who have left their mark in the motorcycling world. You can find out more about the motorcyclist of the year here.

“HOW TO” DEMOS
For those who want to learn some basics, Clinton Smout will be hosting some “How To” training sessions. Clinton will be demonstrating techniques such as riding over obstacles and gravel roads, picking up a fallen motorcycle, and slow speed riding techniques.

OPP GOLDEN HELMETS
The Ontario Provincial Police Golden Helmet Motorcycle Precision Team consists of 20 members. They tour Ontario every year, giving exhibitions of their superb riding skills. This year they will be coming to the Toronto Motorcycle Show and performing 30-minute shows, which consist of the team taking their machines through a series of complex patterns to showcase the maneuverability of the machine and the riders’ skills.

CLUTCH SOCIETY
The Clutch Society is an all-new “show-within-the-show” made to celebrate the best of custom motorcycle culture. This is a one-of-a-kind curated motorcycle exhibit that has the aesthetic of a gritty, rugged home garage. The exhibit is being produced in collaboration with Dan Lim of The Moto Foto. This exhibit will be going on throughout the Toronto Motorcycle Show and welcomes riders of all skill levels, riding styles, and backgrounds to come and check out the amazing set of custom bikes while connecting with builders, indie brands and artists.
